Eli's mom came to visit from Spain just after we got home from Florida and she has been helping us get moved in and settled. Needless to say we are loving the flan, paella, croquetas, arroz con leche, pollo al ajillo, espaguetti, tortilla de patata (man I´m getting hungry!), tortilla francesa, sopa de pollo, y potaje. She leaves in just one week and both Eli and I are starting to dread the fact that both of us are going to have to get used to my cooking again. It's hard to settle for a groomed mountain when you've had a day of snowboarding in three feet of perfect powder! The kids have loved having her here, especially Natalia and Samira. The kids are wearing their new pajamas that Abuelita bought for them.
La madre de Eli vino para visitarnos desde España justo cuando habíamos regresado de la Florida y ha estado ayudándonos desempacar y organizar la casa. Estamos disfrutando todo el flan, paella, croquetas, arroz con leche, pollo al ajillo, espaguetti, tortilla de patata (madre mía, me está dando hambre!), tortilla francesa, sopa de pollo, y potaje que está haciendo. Se va en menos de una semana y ahora tenemos que acostumbrarnos a la idea de tener que comer lo que yo cocino. Muy mal! A los niños les encanta tener la abuelita aquí con nosotros especialmente la Natalia y la Samira. Los niños están con sus pijamas que la Abuelita les compró.
